Joe's culinary journey isn't defined by location but by a constant pursuit of fresh, delicious experiences. Nestled in Maryland's beautiful Agricultural Reserve, his life revolves around the bounty of local farms. While Poolesville might not have a grocery store, this fuels Joe's passion for crafting meals from scratch, just like the weekly fresh bread he bakes for his daughter. This dedication to real, unprocessed food extends far beyond his own kitchen.

Joe's experience isn't limited to the local community. Joe was the former executive chef at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing arts, where he crafted menus for celebrities, presidents, dignitaries and theater -goers alike. Every dish, from prestigious events like the Kennedy Center Honors and Mark Twain Prize to intimate gatherings became a canvas of his culinary artistry.

Never one to repeat himself, Joe's passion for innovation was evident throughout his career. This was recognized when he joined Sodexo, a renowned French company at the forefront of food service. Here, Joe thrived, developing innovative concepts that were implemented nationwide and globally.

Gabriela, the co-founder and owner of Grove & Garnish, is passionate about creating thoughtfully crafted meals that spark joy and connection. As a busy mom juggling a full-time career, she understands the challenges of maintaining healthy eating habits amidst a whirlwind schedule. This very desire to make wholesome food effortless for families and individuals is the seed from which Grove & Garnish blossomed.

Gabriela's journey as a hospitality professional began on a global scale working with renowned luxury groups like Jumeirah and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, traversing across five different countries.

Upon returning to the D.C. area, she brought her exceptional hospitality skills to local institutions.  She played a pivotal role in the opening of The Watergate Hotel, leveraging her expertise in luxury service, and later led the learning initiatives at the prestigious Congressional Country Club.

Now nestled in the heart of Montgomery County's agricultural haven, Gabriela infuses her extensive experience into Grove & Garnish.  She ensures meticulous attention to detail, strives to exceed expectations, and fosters lasting connections with the local community, one delicious meal at a time. The commitment to quality extends far beyond the kitchen.  Building strong relationships with customers and tailoring services to individual needs remains a core value at Grove & Garnish.
